Growth Marketing is a team of performance-driven marketers and channel specialists. We partner closely with growth product, regional and demand marketing, and sales to drive revenue through self-serve and sales motions. We work globally, on the full customer lifecycle, and with all company segments - from startups to the largest enterprises. 

What you’ll do

We are seeking an experienced and passionate growth marketer who will help to build and execute against scaled lifecycle marketing programs targeting key user segments. Our vision is to provide merchants with the greatest value at each stage of their relationship with Stripe. You will be a part of the team responsible for delivering on this vision and driving revenue through demand generation, deal activation, upsell/cross-sell, and retention programming. You will lead key strategic marketing initiatives and execute personalized, cross-channel nurture campaigns to help merchants consider, activate, and grow with Stripe. You have a relentless focus on the customer and like to actively contribute to a culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, learning, and iteration.

Responsibilities

  • Drive ideation, strategy, and execution of coordinated and scaled lifecycle campaigns across multi-channel surfaces (such as email and in-product notifications) for key user segments who come to Stripe through initial sales relationships
  • Identify opportunity areas to build and leverage data and ML to execute dynamic and scalable programs , working closely with Engineering and Growth Data Science teams to develop
  • Set out measures of success, key metrics, and objectives for experiments and nurture campaigns, and oversee reporting and performance of initiatives to enable optimization
  • Partner with the Growth Analytics team to develop data-driven, actionable analysis; set and measure against targets, and develop reporting capabilities to monitor and analyze success on an ongoing basis
  • Be a strategic thinker, problem solver, and communicator who is focused on building meaningful and impactful user experiences
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Growth Product, Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, Sales, Creative, and Operations

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years of overall work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role designing, launching, analyzing, and taking action on the performance of marketing campaigns
  • 3+ years experience working as a marketing expert in a cross-functional growth team
  • High technical fluency in marketing (e.g. understanding of webhooks, APIs, ML techniques, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success working with product, engineering, and growth teams
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset; ability to decipher actionable insights from data 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred qualifications

  • 10+ years of work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing
  • Experience in executing lifecycle marketing campaigns across various channels and surfaces
  • Experience working in platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, Salesloft, etc.
  • Experience working with internal sales teams; fluency in sales concepts, processes, and metrics
